Kafe Kosmos or "Cafe Kosmos" was a downtown Grand Forks youth center that had frequent weekend shows. Many local acts (Hadley Freng, Strap Hanger, and Imipolex G) had long-standing invites to play there. Regional and inter/national bands also played there, including Red Monkey, lowercase, Mothmus, Midnight Evils, and others.

The building had residents living above the showspace, causing complaints during loud rock-n-roll shows.
