Jason Lay is the stage name of the MC, singer, and lead guitarist of Strap Hanger. Early SH songs feature Lay rapping crowd favorites like "Kill Whitey". Later SH showcase Lay singing, such as "Monkeys With Strange Erections". Also, on the set-closer "Control Your Field", he would take over drums briefly from Turner.
