- Helped form Sub Rosa after posting a "drummer looking for band" ad in a local Fargo music store, which prompted the response from a girl who worked there (Sabrina...whom the Sub Rosa song Sabrina is named after) who knew Scott Pauketat and Dan Nygard were looking for a drummer.
- Also helped form Christopher Walken Overdrive and Throbbing Hot Rods, The and was the drummer of both them for a short period of time, while performing with Sub Rosa.
- Recorded the "four fast songs" CD for Sub Rosa while drumming for them.
- Recorded demo for Lace while he was with the band shortly as their drummer.
- Played briefly in Kennedy Luck Club of Lawrence, KS before moving back to Grand Forks, and then to Fargo.
- After moving back to Fargo he rejoined Throbbing Hot Rods, The for 2 years before their guitar player Alex Stotesbery moved to Minneapolis.
- After leaving Throbbing Hot Rods, The he helped form Cass County Uglies, The with former band mate Dan Nygard (from Sub Rosa) along with former band mate Scott Reirson (from Throbbing Hot Rods, The) along with friend Ben Arends. Scott was replaced by Leif Nygard after playing one show with the band. He moved to Minneapolis to continue with Throbbing Hot Rods, The.
