Sugar and Spikes was a punk band based in Bismarck,ND.
About
Founded around 1999 while in high school, they named themselves after the Captain Beefheart song. They played frequently around the Bismark/Mandan area and also played Minot's Liberty Social Tavern.
Sugar and Spikes would later become Toxic Shock Syndrome, after Sam Larson left the group.
