Recaster seemed like a serious contender to break out of the Fargo scene, and were consequently hated by other Fargo bands at the time. This was compounded by the fact that the lead singer was a self-righteous loudmouth.  They moved to Chicago in 1999 and quickly disbanded when Todd Ruzicka left the group.
