Welcome to the Fargo Band Family Tree (FBFT). There are currently 2,126 pages including bands, band members and record labels. First time visitors may want to learn what a wiki is, how it works and how to contribute to the FBFT.

  • The FBFT is intended to serve as a historical reference. Please keep the bragging, boasting and self-promotion to a minimum. If you'd like to promote yourself or your band, consider Myspace. Also, please do not use band or personal bios as a place to attack or insult individuals and bands. Feel free to use the "discussion" tab to discuss whatever you desire with regards to bands or individuals, though we ask that you please keep it civil.
  • The decade and alphabetical listings are for Fargo/Moorhead bands only at this point. We're still trying to figure out how we want to handle other cities. In the meantime, feel free to work Minneapolis/St. Paul and some of the other cities in greater Minnesota and North Dakota.
  • Band member profile pages are being tweaked so please don't be alarmed if some pages look differently from the last time you viewed them. If you plan to add a page for a band member please use Phil Leitch as your sample. Need a sample for a band profile page? Please use Fargo All-Stars. Please follow our examples...don't create your own. Thanks.

Record Labels

Like this, want to start one for your scene?

While we temporarily tossed around the idea that we could host and control a gigantic universal ultimate band family tree we came to our senses and figured Fargo and it's closely related scenes would have to do.

However we'd love to help others duplicate this and work together to standardize on format and layout and interlink between them where and when we can. Contact either Phil or Ryan if you're interested.
