Kilimanjaro was begun by several MSU individuals in 1990, including Senegalese national Ibrahim Diallo who played keyboards. The lead singer was Rodrigo (last name I forget). The drummer and bass player  - I forget their names. I know they sometimes jammed with Munib (last name I forget), an Ethiopian bass player who kicked ass. I remember the first time they were scheduled to play Kirby's (their first-ever gig), they cancelled and Kirby Kuklenski was PISSED. He was only going to pay them $100, but they only had three songs ... and needed more practice.
