Brian Helm is a musician from Bismarck, ND. He has been active in the North Dakota music scene since at least the early 2000's.
About
Helm was known for his skill and stamina as a drummer. Starting out in pop punk group Nova86, Helm went on to be one of the most well regarded metal drummers in the state. He was a founding member of Demogorgon, who later became Bonesaw. He also rejoined Nova86 guitarist Jerik Hendrickson in melodic hardcore band Standing Idly By and later post punk/pop act The Diversion Scene in both cases bringing elements of his extreme metal influences. In the 2010's, Helm drummed for blackened thrash band Frosthelm.
