The band 7 Periods was formed from Sam Ova's and Nick Aune's dream to start an 80's band. The name 7 Periods came from Nick just typing out a bunch of periods when asked what to name the band. Cameron Leben joined the band by default, and Mike Opp reluctantly joined the band through connections with Nick. The band's first recording was one night in June, 2006. All 3 songs recorded that night were purely jams. The 3 songs recorded were: Insane Clown ( A sound test) ,7 Periods Theme( Nothing but jamming) and Kids Of Columbine ( A song about the Columbine shootings. Mike Opp is the vocalist on this track.)
