Recaster seemed like a serious contender to break out of the Fargo scene, and were consequently hated by other Fargo bands at the time. Recaster played an agressive style of pop infused glam-punk. Inner tensions amongst band members regarding creative expression eventually tore the band apart shortly after there relocation to Chicago.
