The Diversion Scene was a melodic hardcore/pop band from Bismarck and Fargo, ND. They were active for much of the 2000's and toured regionally.
About
Two thirds of the band were in metallic hardcore band Standing Idly By, from 2001 to early 2003, and with the departure of that bands lead singer, they transitioned to the more melodic style of the Diversion Scene. Based partially in Bismarck at first, they eventually all moved to Fargo.
The band broke up in 2007 with the departure of bassist Colin Canham to St Louis, MO. The Diversion Scene played their last show on Saturday, August 4th, 2007 at The Aquarium in Fargo, ND.
