The Diversion Scene played their last show on Saturday, August 4th, 2007 at The Aquarium in Fargo, ND. The band broke up because their Colin was moving to Saint Louis.
Highlights
- One half of the band lives together.
- The band recorded the majority of their album (ie: Everything but the drums) themselves in the house in which half of them live.
- They are an electrician, a cable guy, a bulk mail handler, a construction supply salesman, a furniture mover, and an aspiring M.D.
- Sean Murray records local bands in his in-home studio, The Refinery.
- Jerik Hendrickson filled in on bass duties temporarily for Poets and Thieves.
- Two thirds of the band were all in a hardcore band, Standing Idly By, from 2001 to early 2003.
