The Diversion Scene was a melodic hardcore/pop band from Bismarck and Fargo, ND. They were active for much of the 2000's and toured regionally. Two thirds of the band were in a more metallic hardcore band, Standing Idly By, from 2001 to early 2003, before transitioning to the more melodic style of the D-Scene.

The Diversion Scene played their last show on Saturday, August 4th, 2007 at The Aquarium in Fargo, ND. The band broke up because their bassist, Colin was moving to Saint Louis.
