They were known for their flamboyant stage shows often involving costumes. The band's shows were often MC'ed by a young man named Sherman who would masquerade as crippled, mentally retarded man in a wheel chair. A show would often start with Sherman introducing the band at which point Hadley Freng would burst onto stage and kick over Sherman's wheel chair in a blaze of kicks, sticks and guitar licks. <br />
